AOS Governance — The Open Standard for Verifiable AI Safety

The deterministic verification layer between AI intent and execution. An open standard for governing autonomous agents with code, not prompts.

The Problem

AI agents can now write code, manage infrastructure, execute financial transactions, and navigate rovers on Mars. But who verifies what they do before they do it? Current AI safety relies on probabilistic alignment — training models to be "helpful and harmless." AOS provides a deterministic alternative: verification gates that check every action against a constitution before execution.

How It Works

  1. Intercept — Agent proposes an action
  2. Verify — Deterministic scripts check against the Constitution
  3. Gate — Action proceeds only if all checks pass. If not, it is blocked and logged.

The Five Constitutional Principles

The Mars Precedent

On December 8 and 10, 2025, Claude — Anthropic's AI model — planned a 400-meter driving route for NASA's Perseverance Rover through a field of rocks on Mars. It was the first time commands written by an AI were sent to another planet. The same model used to write emails on Earth was trusted with a $2.7 billion rover on Mars — with a 20-minute signal delay that makes real-time human override impossible.

Independently Validated

On February 5, 2026, the AOS Governance system was subjected to a hostile security audit by OpenAI's ChatGPT — 36 vulnerabilities identified and fixed across 5 adversarial audit passes. Result: production-approved. The first constitutional AI governance system validated through adversarial collaboration between two competing AI platforms.

Who's Behind This

AOS Governance is developed by Salvatore Systems, a Connecticut-based technology firm with 28 years of infrastructure experience and 99.99% uptime track record. 137+ codified patent filings protect the AOS framework.
